Steven Nelson, President and CEO
Steven, founder and President of AHN, provides strategic vision and direction in all aspects of customer solutions, marketing and sales, product development, and service and support. He leads a team of professionals in the U.S. and India focused on deploying software and service with standards of excellence.
Mr. Nelson received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Economics from Brigham Young University.
Sudhakar Mohanraj, Vice President – Operations
Mohanraj did his engineering degree in Electronics and has an MBA in Systems. He has about 10 years of experience in heading the development of various Projects and Products for international clientele. He has worked in healthcare products for over 6 years and some of his products have won awards in international exhibitions. With American Healthnet, Sudhakar is the Vice President of Operations and is responsible for delivery of the Clarus suite of products to AHN clients and support for Clarus suite.
Sudhakar has earlier worked with Ramco Systems, California Software and headed many projects in areas of Healthcare, Retailing, Financials and Logistics.
Michael G Peterson, Vice President - Business Development
Mike joined AHN in 1993 as the director of the healthcare product team. Since then, he has served in a number of roles driving the development and presentation of AHN applications. At present, Mike directs the demonstration and marketing team with a focus on broadening the market presence of American HealthNet and Clarus.
Mike served as the CEO of Landmann-Jungman Memorial Hospital in Scotland, SD and Douglas County Hospital in Armour, SD from 1987 to 1993; CEO of Community Memorial Hospital in Burke, SD from 1984 to 1987; consulting Pharmacist in rural central South Dakota from 1980 to 1984 and as a Pharmacy Officer in the U.S. Army from 1976 to 1980.
Mike received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from South Dakota State University in 1975 and his certification as a Microsoft Certified System Engineer in 1999.
Bonnie Austin , Director of Product Management
Bonnie leads the Product Development Team who is responsible for the design and development of the features and functionality in Clarus products. Austin was an employee of the company when it was founded in 1980. Her experience includes managing her own software development company, designing and programming several accounting and financial applications, and leadership in numerous customer projects.
Austin graduated with honors from the University of Illinois was a BS in Mathematics.
Paula Impson, Director of Client Services
As Director of Client Services, Paula oversees the implementations of Clarus financial modules, directs the customer support staff, and serves as a functional advisor to the product managers.
Prior to joining American HealthNet in 1999, Impson served for fifteen years in a variety of management positions in the health care industry, including: CFO, Laboratory Supervisor, Medical Records Supervisor, Home Health Administrator, and Clinic Manager.
Paula graduated from East Central University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology.
