American HealthNet Adds Consulting Service
On April 1st, American HealthNet formed a new consulting group.
The group currently offers:
- Charge Master tuning .
- Systems/subsystems evaluations.
- Backup and business continuity planning, and
- Access to outside funding through grant writing services.
The first of regularly hosted webinars is scheduled for June 27th. In these webinars we will offer meaningful content and conclude with invitations to investigate our services. In this first webinar, called Increase Revenue through Charge Master Tuning, we will invite clients to hire us to review and tune their pricing.
Also, we will be hosting our first regional seminar in July. We will hold this seminar for our seven client hospitals in southeast South Dakota. Using the catch phrase from the Tom Cruise movie, Jerry McGuire, “Show me the money!” we will offer three sessions:
- Show Me the Future:Such healthcare technology trends as data exchanging, electronic medical record, paperless practices, security and backup planning.
- Show Me the Technology: How Clarus has all the features of the future described in the first session.
- Show Me the Money: External funding sources that will help the clients fund their systems purchase, and revenue enhancement through charge master tuning.
We plan to offer these regional seminars in several locations.
The consulting group has identified some potential future projects as:
- Workflow analysis.
- Business process outsourcing (P/R, A/P, Collections, etc.).
- Medical transcription services.
- JCAHO preparation.
- Build new Clarus client master files.
- Report development (Analytica, Third Eye, Crystal).
- Collections Accelerated Recovery Services.
If you have suggestions of clients with specific needs for our services, or if you know of other potential projects, please let David know at ddeford@americanhealthnet.com.
