Overview
Radiology orders can be entered via the Order Management module or through the Radiology Information System module. Within the RIS module, techs can enter and complete orders, film librarians can check out and check in films from your facility as well as films from other facilities. In addition, radiologists will review transcribed reports in this module. The RIS module can interface with most commercial PACS systems.
- Medical Transcription – It is integrated with the Radiology module for transcribing the radiologist report.
- User Administration –User access level for Radiology can be provided from the User Administration module.

- Radiology can define exams with number of films used, billing details, procedure types, Body types, exam room and preparations.
- Technologist Work Process – Ability to perform the exam, Begin and Completion stamps on each procedure are used to create detailed productivity statistics. Tracking of repeat and waste films identifies potential process improvement and training needs. Ability to identify STAT orders quickly on the Tech Worklist.
- Radiologist Work Process – Ability to view or enter transcribed result, multi level signing. Interesting or unique cases can be identified using case tags.
- Smart-logic functionality allows users to efficiently track master jackets.
- Auto printing of order requisition, Master Jacket, Sub Folder and Film Labels.
